Karsa attending IAC 2022 in Athens

Karsa is participating in the 11th INTERNATIONAL AEROSOL CONFERENCE (IAC) in Athens, Greece this week. Three posters with authors from Karsa will be presented.

In the poster session “Instrumentation for aerosol characterization”, Paxton Juuti et al are presenting a poster demonstrating the use of an ESI source with the Karsa MION (Broadening the usable reagent range for atmospheric CI-MS measurements with an ESI source addition for the MION, AMT-P1_012, Monday, September 5, 2022, 17:00 – 19:00). In the same session, a poster by Jyri Mikkilä et al gives an overview of the MION (Multi-scheme chemical ionization inlet (MION) with fast reagent and polarity switching for atmospheric pressure chemical ionization mass spectrometry (CIMS) applications, AMT-P1_013, Monday, September 5, 2022, 17:00 – 19:00). Due to illness these posters will be staffed by Fariba Partovi.

In the poster session “Novel and low cost instrumentation” Fariba Partovi et al. will present the detection of pesticides, sulfuric acid, VOCs, and PFOS in air samples collected from Cyprus, Czech Republic, Lapland, and an indoor storage room. (Optimizing chemical ionization detection of compounds impacting the well-being of the environmentAMT-P2_007, Tuesday, 6 September 2022, 17:00-19:00).

We are looking forward to welcome you at our posters!
