Karsa Oy is seeking a Signal Processing Engineer to join our Software and Data team.

As we expand our international customer base and prepare for a successful product rollout in the analytical chemistry market within the next few years, we need a skilled Signal Processing Engineer to assist us in our mission.
About the role:
As our Signal Processing Engineer you will work with a dynamic team of experts to support the Software and Data team by developing and testing mass spectrometer signal processing algorithms using Python. You shall contribute to developing metrics to measure algorithm performance and to integrating algorithms into the signal processing pipeline of our software.
To be successful in this position, you should have the ability to balance between complexity, computational cost and accuracy when developing algorithms. Your analytical mindset and problem-solving skills will support you in gaining understanding of the physical phenomena behind the data, and contributing to the development of a complex product.
Experience in python programming and signal processing is required. Additionally, you should have fluent communication skills in English and feel comfortable within a fast-changing environment
