Atmospheric Science students visit Karsa.

Can you believe that we hosted 27(!) Atmospheric Science students in our laboratory on Monday? ‍

As a part of their introductory course in Atmospheric Sciences, the first-year University of Helsinki master's students visit research institutes and companies to explore career possibilities.

Accommodating all the students in our laboratories was quite a challenge; therefore, first, we gathered in the classroom to share Karsa's journey, the science behind our cutting-edge instrument, and the applications of our technology in the field.

Our CEO, H.J. Jost, and marketing & sales representative, Anna Franck, shared their career stories, providing examples of potential career paths.

We then divided into several groups, and with some magical logistics, the students got the opportunity to get up close to the instruments in the labs and explore the core parts of the Orbitrap mass spectrometer.

It was a pleasure to welcome the next generation of scientists to our lab, and we hope this experience inspired them to learn more about mass spectrometry. 💜

Thank you to Katja Lauri for reaching out, all the students who expressed interest in visiting our company, and our lab manager Joona Mikkilä for assisting with the tour!
