Karsa is excited to present its ion source MION2 at the European Aerosol Conferences (EAC) organized by the European Aerosol Assembly (EAA). EAC2023 is taking place in Malaga (Spain) from September 3-8, 2023.
Karsa personnel will present two separate posters. First up, our newest employee Anna Franck will present MION and the benefits of rapid reagent chemistry switching for ambient measurements. Her poster also presents examples of our filter collection and thermal desorber workflow and how we detected pesticides in the air (Poster 3.03-8, Poster Session I).
The second contribution is from Henning Finkenzeller and introduces his modelling efforts comparing MION and traditional Eisele type nitrate ion source. (Poster 3.07-11, Poster Session I). The modelling is consistent with an independent instrumental comparison that found MION performing better than the Eisle type inlet.
