Karsa was presenting a poster about results of using the Multi-scheme chemical ionization inlet (MION2) at the British Mass Spectrometry Society (BMSS) Ambient Ionisation SIG Meeting 2023. The event is held at the Astra Zeneca site in Macclesfield, UK.
The broad applicability of the MION2 is demonstrated with results achieved in collaboration with University of Tampere and Helsinki for ambient online air monitoring and workflows using filter desorption to detect pesticides. We were able to engage with scientist with an interest in ambient ionisation processes using selective, adduct forming chemical ionisation.
